DIY: Attaching casters to a BROR workbench

I bought Ikea's BROR to store my computer and camera gear (My review). My only complaint was that it doesn't come with casters by default. I asked on the web store if it was possible to attach them, but unfortunately, they answered it wasn't.

So, I decided to do it myself. I confirmed that making holes with an electric screwdriver is possible beforehand.

I ordered these casters (Φ50) on Kohnan e-shop(コーナン eショップ) here:

I also got:
- M5 x 10mm Wing Bolts
- M5 Hex nuts
- Washers

Yeah, it looks like they will perfectly fit the workbench! The rubber covers can be easily ripped off.

Firstly, let's mark positions for the holes.

I used these drill bits:

I started with the thinnest one (2mm):

and then, used the largest one (5mm):

It worked!

I managed to attach a caster. Yay!:

But, when I tried to drill another hole with the thinnest bit, it broke:

So, be careful if you try this yourself. After attaching the remaining casters:

The two in the front have stoppers, which are useful for keeping the workbench in place.

Now I can easily move the workbench around and clean the room XD Pretty happy with the result!
