Inkdrop v0.7.0 Release Notes

Thank you for your bug reports and feedback. This update includes the following:

• New feature: Editor customizations
• New feature: Preview customizations
• New feature: Multiple Inkdrop windows
• Improvements: Checkbox syntax support for Markdown
• WIP: Plugin system (70%)
• Bugfix: Support auto update on Windows
• Bugfix: Weird behavior during installation on Windows
• Bugfix: Layout is corrupted in separate note window
• Bugfix: Note list bar not refreshed during the distraction free mode

Customizations

In this version, a lot of features for customization have been added to the editor and the preview. You can change many things such as font size, line height, font family and so on.

Multiple Inkdrop windows

You can open not only note windows but also multiple main windows.

Plugin coming soon

The reason why I describe Inkdrop is ‘for hackers’ is that I’d make it extensible like Atom Editor. I’ve got many inspirations from that editor and decided to import their codes into Inkdrop. I’d keep the app simple and focus on the core functionality because I can’t cover all features wanted from people alone. But it can be possible if the app has a feature to extend its functionality.

Some features are already provided via plugin system, for example, themes and additional markdown syntax support.
